PARERE

My thesis project Parere is a spring/summer conceptual capsule collection for plus size women. In the written part, I open up the design process of plus size wear and theorise about the socio-political aspects that affect it. Below is the final collection presentation with three main looks highlighted. The collection itself was showcased in KOE16 fashion show, in which I acted as a audio visual team producer and organiser. The project received high marks and praise for a customer oriented and fresh, contemporary ideation and visuals. Parere also received a 2000 € grant from the Luhta Foundation.
