In the summer of 2023 I wrote a comprehensive guide on how UX-designers could enable more sustainable methods in the work. The booklet was intended for potential clients as well as ICT and design professionals. It contained knowledge about the environmental impact of the ICT sector but also practical tips on how to decrease the electricity and data consumption of a digital service. The guide also contains a sustainable UX-designer checklist to be used in agile development sprints.

While writing the booklet, I worked closely with our Business Design Lead, copyrighter and designer responsible for the layout and graphics in order to ensure a compact and pleasant reading experience. The booklet itself was also optimised to be as sustainable as possible. Process and booklet can be provided upon request.

The Green Design -guide was well received among professionals and it's had a significant role in the rollout of Netum's new sustainability strategy.

In addition to the Green Design -booklet, I've worked on several blogs on Green ICT that have been featured in Netum's website. The topics range from practical UX-design tips to data management and legislature changes regarding sustainability. The blog posts have been very popular among the readers.
