Research Assistant

I served as a part time research assistant for Tampere University's digital sustainability related research platform DigiSus. My responsibilities ranged from graphic design, event planning and facilitation, writing blog posts and website development.

As the research group was only founded in 2024, I got the chance to take part in developing the groups action plans as well as community reach strategy.

NETUM
Sustainability Designer (5/2023 - )

My main responsibilities consist of researching, developing and teaching green design practices for Netum design team. I wrote a guidance booklet and blogposts on how to design digital services sustainably. These are publicly available in Finnish.

Additionally, I am collaborating with different professionals like cyber security and management to find new ways to incorporate Green ICT into company strategy. I also got to represent the company in a variety of  webinars and other events.

KITSAIN
UX Design Lead
(1/2023-5/2023)

I served as the UX/UI lead in a student project for a company called "Kitsain". We set out to develop an MVP2 for a pantry management application. 

My main responsibility was the development of a Figma prototype with the support of weekly UX -meetings with the client. I evaluated and improved the usability and accessibility of the service in collaboration with a team of developers. I also received praise for great overall communication and visual design skills.

VALMET
UX Researcher
(9/2023-12/2023)

As a part of "Usability Evaluation" course, we conducted usability evaluation and user testing for an internal digital product management system.

In a team of six, we offered a comprehensive list of suggestions to improve the usability and accessibility of the system. To support our findings, we planned and conducted a series of user tests in the premises, along with a debrief interview.

I worked as a freelancer for YLE Networks, making video and other visual content about contemporary topics 2017 - 2018. I also performed in occasional public speaking events and produced media content as brand collaborations for social media until 3/2020.

HÖÖ BABY CLOTHING

Design internship for Höö Baby Clothing where I took part in the design process of products and brand visuals as well as all sorts of miscellaneous small business tasks in 2014. I was invited back to freelance as a print designer and prototype maker in 2016.

SEPPÄLÄ
design intern (summer 2015)

Design internship for clothing brand Seppälä where I took part in designing the women's wear plus-size collection and prints for the FW/15 and SS/16 women's collections. I also participated in several design meetings & product evaluations.
